Recycling and permanent deletion process for vehicles up to 3.5 t.

  1. Delivery of your vehicle to our facilities together with the necessary supporting documents.
  2. Checking the condition of the vehicle and checking the completeness of the supporting documents.
  3. Issuance of Receipt and/or Invoice and Issuance of Acknowledgment of Receipt. After the receipt of the vehicle and the issuance of the “Confirmation of Receipt” by the Contractor with E.D.O.E. Recycling Center of our company you have no other obligation.
  4. After completing the Final Deletion process (about 10 days) we send you the “Certificate of Destruction” to your Postal Address.

Documents for definitive deletion of End-of-Life Vehicles

PRIVATE PERSON
    1. Vehicle license
      Original or, in case of loss, an official copy with a stamp from the Ministry of Transport.
      The license should be free of title retention or non-transferable or inheritance tax or anything that states the vehicle is bonded.
      From 5/11/2021 when law 4850 was passed, automatic removal of withholding of ownership is provided for vehicles intended for permanent deletion and is valid after the lapse of 7 YEARS from the date of issuance of the license.
      ATTENTION: according to the law the owners of these vehicles must also present a RESPONSIBLE STATEMENT stating that: “THERE ARE NO PROCEEDINGS PENDING BEFORE THE JUDICIAL AUTHORITIES REGARDING THE OWNERSHIP OF MY VEHICLE WITH REGISTRATION NO. ………………… “. In addition, on a case-by-case basis, we may require “COPY I3 or HISTORY OF THE VEHICLE” from the Ministry of Transport.
    2. Two license plates
    3. Police ID of the owner/s
    4. Police ID of the owner’s representative, in case the vehicle is not delivered by the owner
    5. Responsible statement / authorization validated by A.T. or KEP from all owners!
    6. Book of changes in case of truck, taxi or bus
      Original or in case of loss certified computerized copy “for use in EDOE” by the Ministry of Transport.
COMPANIES
  1. Vehicle license
    Original or, in case of loss, an official copy with a stamp from the Ministry of Transport.

  4. Police ID of an authorized person, in case the vehicle is not delivered by the legal representative. The details of the authorized person who will deliver the vehicle must also be written on the practical board of directors.
  5. Responsible statement / authorization validated by A.T. or K.E.P. from all owners!
  6. Book of changes in case of truck, taxi or bus
    Original or in case of loss certified computerized copy “for use in EDOE” by the Ministry of Transport.

In addition to the above supporting documents, you will also need:

  1. Photocopy of the Company’s articles of association (show name, duration, representatives, administrator/or Board of Directors)
  2. Excerpt from the minutes of the Board of Directors regarding the decision to permanently delete the vehicle
  3. Bill of Lading-Sales Invoice
Limited Liability Company (S.A.)
  1. Photocopy of Gazette of representation
  2. Photocopy of Gazette of incorporation (show name, duration, representatives, board of directors)

  3. Excerpt from the minutes of the Board of Directors regarding the decision to permanently delete the vehicle
  4. Bill of Lading-Sales Invoice

→ If the company is bankrupt Authorization from the liquidator will be required.

In case the vehicle is temporarily immobilized we need:

For PASSENGER VEHICLES

  1. Transferable from the tax office (after an application for removal of immobility for final deletion to the tax office.)
  2. Copy of traffic license with Ministry of Transport stamp.

For TRUCKS

  1. Certificate of immobility from the Ministry of Transport (that the plates and license are deposited)
  2. Book of Changes
  • In case of loss of 1 or 2 license plates, declaration of loss of license plates from the police.
  • In case the traffic license and plates are in the possession of the traffic police, contact your traffic police.
  • If the vehicle owner is bedridden, there is a possibility of a home visit by a representative of the K.E.P of your area in order to validate the authenticity of the owner’s signature. Contact the K.E.P.
